Traditional Native American spiritual, ceremonial and cultural tobacco use is permitted on campus.
This includes possessing, gifting, smoking, combusting (without smoking), and depositing on the ground or in the water, is permitted. Traditional Native American smudging using tobacco, sage, cedar, or sweetgrass is also permitted.
Indoor tobacco use requires prior notice to avoid inadvertently activating fire alarms or sprinkler systems and so that such use conforms to applicable fire codes, regulations, and safety practices.
Please fill out the Tobacco Use Notification Form at least three days before tobacco use is planned.
